CMYK for muted, more accurate colors. RGB for richer, more saturated colors. Don't attach color profiles. 300 DPI for raster files. Outline fonts in Illustrator. Etc etc.
The quickest way to start a design is to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign. We have templates for each of these programs. The template layers are isolated from the design layers. Keep your artwork within the design layer.
For other programs we supply the templates in JPG and PNG formats. Whenever possible, try to keep the template layer separate from your design. If any part of the template remains visible with your design, it could show on the final printing.
Design services (link) are available for all of the products we offer. Packaging selection, proof and revision cycles, and ambiguous specifications are among many factors that determine the time and cost of designing a layout. Every project requires its own set of guidelines. Give us a call or email so we can customize an estimate based on a few questions about your concept.
Our a la carte rate for most services is $25.00 per hour. (Include table or list of frequent services with average time and rate) Some services are priced as a flat rate or discounted as part of a package. In most cases we can work with limited budgets. We prefer cash, business checks, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Payment may be made in person, online, or over the phone. Personal checks may be considered on an individual basis with additional time required for bank clearance before work may begin.
In all cases, please note that all sales are final and payment in full must be received before production begins. Payment delays are not factored into turnaround time.

In the unlikely event that there is something wrong with your finished product, it's important to contact us as soon as possible so that we can quickly investigate and resolve it. Please keep all defective product for return and verification. If the cause of the issue is determined to have originated during our production process, we will gladly replace the quantity of returned defective media.
In general, Pacific Optimedia does not proofread customers' text and is not responsible for typographical errors. Soft (email) proofs are for verifying placement only. Colors may appear different on your display and do not reflect final printed artwork or screen-matched accuracy.
